StoryHouse tickets & upcoming events

If you're into live performances that mix a bit of local charm with top-notch entertainment, then StoryHouse in Chester is where you wanna be. This place has been a hub for the community since it started hosting its annual poetry contest back in 2014, and honestly, it’s become a bit of a local legend. The outdoor amphitheater, which opened just last year on april 15 2026, is stunning, especially when you’re sitting under the stars with the Chester Philharmonic Orchestra playing nearby. The seating options are pretty sweet too, with premium tickets sometimes including exclusive drinks or perks, and box seats even come with private listening devices so you can hear every note clearly. Getting there is a breeze, just head north from the recreational area along Greenway Road and turn onto Maple Drive, or from the university research park, walk south on Research Drive and find Maple Street. Planning to buy tickets? No worries, the interactive seating chart makes it super easy to pick your spot, whether you're craving front-row action for shows like Operation Mincemeat or just want to kick back in the comfy VIP sections. And if you’re on a budget, no shame, Red seats are affordable and still give you a great view. Honestly, don’t let hesitation hold you back, StoryHouse is all about bringing people together for some seriously good entertainment, and trust me, you don’t wanna miss out on the vibrant vibe.
